The fittings are manufactured from Duplex Stainless Steel UNS S31803 (DIN 1.4462) and UNS S32205, commonly known as Duplex 2205, which offers an excellent balance of corrosion resistance, toughness and mechanical strength. These grades perform exceptionally well in chloride-rich environments where conventional stainless steel may be susceptible to localised corrosion. Their duplex microstructure provides higher yield strength while maintaining good weldability and fabrication characteristics.
